The 2009 Maserati GranTurismo MC Corse which is due to be fully revealed on October 2nd 2008, is a track orientated version of the Maserati GranTurismo S.

The styling of the Maserati GranTurismo MC Corse is significantly revised, especially at the front where a distinctive grille runs almost the entire width of the car, sweeping up under the headlights on both sides. Three vents in the hood help feed the engine with fresh air and extract the hot air. Down the side of the car new vents have appeared just behind the front wheels to complement the three small vents already there. At the back is a new rear bumper with integrated air diffuser and exhaust outlets. All the trim and badging of the Maserati GranTurismo MC Corse have been finished in a sinister satin black color which matches the multispoke 18" wheels.

Powering the Maserati GranTurismo MC Corse is an enhanced version of the 4.7 litre V8 found in the GranTurismo S. Thanks to a new air intake system, and a full sports exhaust with competition grade catalytic converters, the GranTurismo Corse's engine produces around 450 horsepower.

To improve the on-track handling characteristics the Maserati GranTurismo MC Corse is equipped with sports suspension and larger brakes with monoblock racing calipers.

Inside the 2009 Maserati GranTurismo MC Corse the traditional luxury appointments have been replaced with supportive racing seats, and an FIA approved rollcage.
